●As informed already in 2021 and after the successful relocation of our TO-240 and Y4 product families, I am pleased to announce we are preparing to consolidate and transfer the next power modules back end operations to our new facility located in Lipa city, the Philipines over the coming months.
●This new Littelfuse facility combines the very best operational excellence and semiconductor expertise to deliver a highly automated, world class facility designed, to meet IATF16949 & VDA6.3 requirements. Our clear focus being to bring high levels of service to our customers and quality products to support future growth of the power semiconductor business.
●This time, we will be relocating our Y1 power module product families. Standard part numbers for each package are listed in the appendix.
●As a valued customer, we are providing this advanced notification to help facilitate a smooth transition of your business to the new facility.
●We are currently running process validation, line qualification and product qualification with a view to issuing the first PCNs and initial ramp up in October timeframe.
●Due to limited 60days maximum timeframe anticipated for acceptance we urge your early attention to this matter.
●Along with the PCN you will receive, a summary report listing the different test and qualification that have been done to release this assembly line and the main changes with current production.
●Additionally, we will begin conditional production of the single switch variants with immediate effect for part numbers beginning MCO and MDO highlighted in green in the appendix. These product types have already completed temperature cycling validation (pending next lot qualification verification as per our normal process). However due to unprecedented demand at this time and depleted inventories, we have taken the decision to allow limited conditional production and shipment of the same to selected customers on the full understanding of the provisional qualification status.
