■Description of Change
●This notice is to inform you that Intersil has updated the datasheets for the Digital PMBus Modules to include additional PMBus guidelines.
■Reason for Change
●The new section titled “PMBus Use Guidelines” provides a better understanding of the device application with important information associated with sending repeated commands to the same device. There should be a 2ms delay between repeated READ commands and 5ms delay between sending any other commands to the same device. Insufficient delays between commands may cause communication errors with the device. The change aligns the data sheet with the existing product characteristics. The new section is included in each datasheet as highlighted on the next page, i.e. Appendix B.
