●Description of Change

■Silicon Labs is pleased to announce a new main board (BRD4002A) for the EFR32 Wireless Starter Kits and EFR32 Pro Kits.The main board BRD4001A will be replaced by the BRD4002A.

■As inventory of existing kits Wireless Starter Kits and Pro Kits are depleted and replacement kits are built, they will be updated to use the new BRD4002A, which is supported by Simplicity Studio v5.3.0 or later and GSDK v4.0.0 or later.

■All impacted kit User’s Guides will be updated to include the new BRD4002A information. The OPNs for the updated kits will not change.

■Backward compatible with BRD4001A

■On-board mini-simplicity connector

■AEM performance improvements

■Configurable target voltage

■Analog Joystick
