Due to production discontinuance of present electromagnetic brake, we would like to inform you about specification change as below.
● Models: Compact geared motors with brake

■ Reason of change:
Because current electromagnetic brake will be discontinued, we will switch to alternative
models of the same manufacturer.
■ Contents of change:
● Brake input - There are models with increase range from 1W to 4W
●Brake current - There are models with change range from ''-0.01A" to "+0.01A"
●Motor Mass - There are models with increase range from 0.1kg to 0.4kg.
● Lead wire of the brake:

◆Coating outer diameter (nominal): 1.58mm;
◆Core configuration:17 / φ0.16mm
▲New Product:
◆UL3613, AWG22;
◆Coating outer diameter(nominal): 2.0mm;
◆Core configuration: 7 / φ0.25mm
Brake Characteristics: There is no change (Static friction torque, stopping time).
There is no change in motor characteristics.
Temperature of the brakes will be less than or equal to our current products.
■Change period:
New brakes will be applied gradually starting from October 2011 production.
