● First, we are happy to announce the opening of a secondary production line in our Juarez, Mexico,facility. As a result, moving forward, all US, Canada, and Mexico orders will start seeing Mexico as the country of origin for the majority of CCP and CUBEFuse products. Some parts may still show CN as a country of origin, but Mexico will become the primary producer for North American locations.
● Second, if you have not already done so,please begin preparing your customers for the CCP2 and CCD2 part numbertransition.There are some parts with a higher stock position that we may request they stay on the legacy part until inventory is consumed over the next few months.We have started toramp downproduction on the legacy line and will stop ordering material for legacy production at the end of the month. If we are out of the legacy part number, order entry is being given instructions to automatically change the order over to the CCP2 equivalent. As a reminder, CCP2 is a form, fit, function replacement for the CCP and should not require any UL file updates on the customer’s end.
