Riverside, California – August 5, 2021 – Effective October 23, 2021, the manufacturing plant for the Bourns® Model SDR0703 Series Non-shielded Power Inductors will be changed to a higher capacity manufacturing facility to accommodate increasing production demands. Affected part numbers are listed below.
There will be no product design or manufacturing process change as a result of the change in manufacturing plants. However, the wire insulation for products produced at the new manufacturing plant will be upgraded to a higher thermal class with the maximum rating changing from 155 °C to 180 °C.
The form, fit, function and the country of origin of these inductors will remain unchanged. The quality, reliability and production lead time should be improved.
