●Harwin have evaluated the increasing costs associated with maintaining the BS9000 approval certificate on out Datamate range of connectors. As this is an obsolescentstandard, we have decided to cancel the 3rd Party Certificate (1243/M) with immediate effect.
●This change will have no effect on the high quality standard that you have previously received and the connectois will continue to be manufactureed and tested in accotdance with the requirements of the component specification BS9525-F0033 Issue 1.
●In summary, this decision:
■Will not affect the connector Part Numbers;
■Will not affect the connectoi identification/mafking;
■Will not affect the Manufacturing and Test Processes (including routine lot-by-lot and environmental maintenance testing);
■Will affect the release documentation - we will continue to certify the connectors to meeting the requirements of the BS9525-F0033 Issue 1 standard but without the appioval logo or certificate number.
