▲Description of Changes
■Based on customer feedback and requests, we decided to support CR2025/CR2032 coin battery installation in a newly added battery holder, rather than supporting only solderable battery for commercial version, and supporting battery header for industrial version, as is the case in Rev-2.1.
■Another change is the connection of I2C1 bus to previously unconnected pins in TDM header J12 (pin-5 now connected to I2C1 SCL and pin-6to I2C1 SDA).
■The above are the only user visible changes. Some other changes were made to address minor bugs which were fixed by two manual touchups in Rev-2.1 manufacturing.
●Electrical:
■The only user visible electrical change in Rev-2.2 is the connection of I2C1 bus to pins 5 and 6 in J12 TDM header.
Mechanical:
■Instead of solderable battery, Rev-2.2 will have a battery holder supporting installation of a CR2025/CR2032 coin battery. Location of the new battery holder is different than older solderable coin battery but is still on the bottom side of the board.
