●CLASSIFICATION OF CHANGE: Material and process change.
●DESCRIPTION OF CHANGE:
■The internal fuse design is changing with no impact to fit or form.
■The fuse manufacturing process is changing to accommodate the internal design changes.
●REASON FOR CHANGE: These changes are required to improve product manufacturability, efficiency, and equipment utilization.
●EXPECTED INFLUENCE ON QUALITY, RELIABILITY, AND PERFORMANCE: There will be no effect on quality and reliability. Fuse ratings from 1/4A – 10A will benefit from a reduction to I2T which will be updated in the datasheet, and fuse time vs current curves will be updated accordingly. Fuse rating from 1/4A- 10A will have DC cold resistance change, New DC cold resistance and new I2T values for the 1/4A - 10A fuse ratings can be found in the table below.
