Technical change to MPS 5 & MHS 5H Product Change Notification (PCN-PL20-20210526-00-A)

■Initial situation
●The products have a type field on their side faces showing the product family designation and the pitch. The male header is lettered with"MHS 5" (Modular Header Snap-In) and the female plug is lettered with"MPS 5" (Modular Plug Snap-In).
■Technical change
●The specification of the pitch(“5”)on the products has been removed, so that the type field now only includes the specification of product families(“MHS” respectively “MPS”). This has no technical impact and the outer dimensions also remains unchanged.
■Reason for change
●The change is for continuous product improvement.
■Availability
●The changes were implemented at the end of the first quarter in 2021. A stock adjustment was not carried out, so that in the transition period the delivery of products with both type field variants within one order cannot be excluded.However, due to a strict separation, mixing within one packaging unit can be excluded. The change has no influence on the handling and function of the products.The existing article numbers remain the same.Approvals and permits remain valid unchanged.The drawings have already been updated and can be found in the data sheets in our online catalog.
