●Summary of Change: Update the ELI43‐CR & ELI43‐CP to widen the input voltage range of operation, enhance noise immunity and consolidate the EDID information (Extended Display Identification Data) so both versions of the product use the same EDID information.
●Reason for Change:
■FDI widened the input voltage operating range to allow our customers to power ELI43‐CR or ELI43‐CP from a wider range of power sources and possibly even eliminate one of the power requirements from their system. For example, systems that already contain a 5.0 VDC power source can now use this to power the ELI43 and eliminate the need for a 12VDC supply.
■FDI enhanced the noise immunity to keep stray noise from possibly affecting the ELI circuitry. Even though we have not had any noise issues with the ELI43 product, this change was done as part of our continual efforts to improve our products.
■Using the same EDID for both the ELI43‐CR and ELI43‐CP reduces manufacturing complexity thereby assisting FDI in reducing our costs, which ultimately benefit our end customers. For both the ELI43‐CR and the ELI43‐CP the Product Name is now set to “ELI43‐Cx”.
