■This advisory is to inform you that Intersil has updated the data sheet specification for the listed ISL8013* products. The changes consist of the following:
●i) Updated sheets 2, 3, and 14 to indicate EN is not permitted to be directly connected to VIN and to provide recommendations for EN operation/configuration as it relates to VIN.
●ii) Updated the Typical Application Diagram on sheet 3 to remove EN to VIN connection and to add a PGND to SGND connection.
●iii) Updated the Block Diagram on sheet 4 to remove the inverter.
●iv) Updated the Absolute Maximum Ratings section on sheet 5 to include an option of “7V (20mS)”for VIN, VDD, and LX.
●v) Updated the Thermal Information section on sheet 5 changing θJA from 37°C to 39°C and θJC from 6°C to3°C.
●vi) Updated the UVLO section on sheet 14 to include the use of a resistor divider network across the EN pin.
●vii) POD (Package Outline Drawing) updated to reflect the new Intersil format.
