●Dear Valued TRINAMIC Customer, Due to an end-of-life statement from one of our suppliers of components (MOSFETs) we would like to inform you of a hardware change of the following module:
●New modules from new production runs will be delivered with the hardware changes listed in detail below. Previous versions are still available on request.

●Hardware changes
■The PCB version remains unchanged. The assembly / bill of material will change:
▲Stepper motor driver MOSFETs: The MOSFETs (Si7444DP from Vishay) of the driver stage have been replaced. The new MOSFET (SiR418DP from Vishay) is the recommended replacement type from the MOSFET manufacturer. Performance and settings including driver output current and output waveforms are essentially the same.
●Compatibility
■Notes on hardware compatibility: The new version is regarded as fully compatible.
■Notes on firmware compatibility: The new version is 100% firmware compatible.
●This improvement is classified as a minor change.
●Timing
■Effective date for hardware release: 1.12.2015
