●Reason for Change(s):The tooling for the diecast body of the SMB connector needed to be replaced due to long life. In an effort to maintain continued availability, longevity and performance, and minimize cost impact of a new tool, we designed a machined body as a replacement.
●Description of the Change (s):Cinch/ Johnson is replacing the 131-1801-371 SMB Right Angle PCB Mount Plug Connector with the 131-3801-391.These changes will not affect “form, fit, or function”, nor do they affect any other dimensions or electrical parameters of the part. At the same time, the nickel plated version, 131-1801-376 is being obsoleted as it had no demand for the past several years.
●Planned Timing and Implementation of Change: This change was made beginning in May 2020.
