●Summary of Change:Change the LCD to always be powered.
●Reason for Change: To prevent potential issues due to customers incorrectly switching off the LCD power, and to provide a more robust and reliable circuit, we are removing the LCD power switch. This also simplifies the power up configuration of the I2C bus and avoids potential issues with some PCAP touch screen controllers.
●Detailed Description of Change:Change R175 to load. Change Q3 to DNL. This provides a more robust direct power connection, avoiding the potential for customer issues with LCD power down, while also providing improved LCD power-on timing.LCD Backlight is unaffected by this change.
■LCD dimming is still available.
