■This advisory is to inform you that Intersil has updated the data sheet specification for the listed ISL8014* products. The changes consist of the following:
▲i) Updated sheets 2, 3, and 13 to indicate EN is not permitted to be directly connected to VIN and to provide recommendations for EN operation/configuration as it relates to VIN.
▲ii) Updated the Typical Application Diagram on sheet 3 to remove EN to VIN connection.
▲iii) Updated the Block Diagram on sheet 4 to remove the inverter.
▲iv) Updated the UVLO section on sheet 14 to include the use of a resistor divider network across the EN pin.
■The updated data sheet, FN6576 dated November 23, 2009, is included as a separate attachment with the changes shaded in yellow and/or circled in red.
