■Silicon Labs is please to announce a firmware patch update for RS9116-DB00 AB0/AB1/CC0/CC1 modules. Firmware revision 2.4.1.17 is being updated to 2.4.1.19 for B2A devices and Firmware revision 2.5.1.5 is being updated to 2.5.1.6 for B2B devices. This update is a patch to increase the transmit power approximately 2db. This change is part of Silicon Labs continuous improvement process. There is no impact to form, fit, quality, or reliability. There will be a slight increase in transmit power performance.
■Product with this patch update started shipping December 8, 2022.
■Over the Air (OTA) updates are currently available for these FW patches.
●Reason for Change: This update increases the transmit power performance.
