●In September 2021 Rogers Corporation sent a notification letter to our customers regarding Arsenic Free manufactured copper foils. (Appendix A) Due to REACH Regulations, EU Copper Foils suppliers are required to discontinue the use of Arsenic Acid in their manufacturing process.  Based on evaluations by our copper foil suppliers,  Rogers internal fabrication, reliability, electrical testing, and assessments by multiple customers of our substrate materials, we do not consider this to be a substantive change.
■Products Affected and Key Dates:
●The Rogers’ laminates that are impacted by this legislation along with our target conversion dates are outlined in the table below.  It is our intent to complete the copper conversion within the calendar year of 2022.  The claddings that are impacted are electrodeposited (ED) foil including reverse treat.  Rogers’ materials with rolled copper foil, LoPro®, IM-Series, and heavy metal claddings are NOT impacted.
