Riverside, California – August 3, 2021 – Effective October 23, 2021, Bourns is changing the common mode choke manufacturing process for the Model SM13047XCEL LAN Transformer from a manual to an automated process. This change should improve the production efficiency and transformer performance consistency. The transformer common mode choke and core internal diameters will increase slightly to accommodate the automated manufacturing process.
The form, fit, and function of the LAN transformer will remain unchanged. The quality and reliability should be improved as result of the automation of the manufacturing process. Samples are available upon request.
