Technical change to CabinetLine (RJ45 CAT.6-A patch cable LSZH), caused by the flood in western Germ

■Initial situation
●The CAT.6-A patch cables of the CabinetLine are approved according to UL 1863. The cable used has the following properties, among others:
★UL 1863Approval
★Flame resistance according to IEC 60332-2-2, IEC 60332-1-2, IEC 60332-3-24, UL 2556 (FT1)
■Technical change
●The raw cable is replaced by an alternative cable. The patch cable maintains the complete CAT.6-A transmission performance according to ISO/IEC 11801 2010. The following deviations must be taken into account:
★Slight variation of cable colors possible
★UL 1863 approval temporary no longer valid
▲This does not lead to any change in the mechanical & transmission properties.
★Flame resistance according to IEC 60332-1
▲The basic flame retardancy required by the industry is still given.
■Reason for change
●Due to the flood effects in western Germany, the cable currently used is not available for the time being.
■Availability
●The change will take effect from September2021, the timing may vary depending on the cable color. As a result, there may be mixed deliveries and longer delivery times.
●We are endeavouring to make the patch cables available again with the original properties as quickly as possible.
