●In order to improve our manufacturing processes relating to Gecko-SL Cable Backshells, we are changing the method by which the Iwo halves are clamped together. The current design uses short screws which screw directly into the backshell to hold the two halves together, one on each side. To improve manufactuiing, we are no longer able to add the additional screw thread directly into Ihe backshell half.
●The new design will include 2 short screws and 2 hexagonal nuts, which will assemble through clearance holes in the backshell on either side. This will hold the two halves together. The additional nut is the same as the board mount nut, available separately as G125-45000006.
●As current stocks are exhausted, the new design will appear. We are unable to commit to a specific changeover date for the stock. The following parts will be affected:
