●Detailed Description of Change
■Littelfuse IXYS Integrated Circuits Division (ICD) would like to inform you about the temporary Moisture Sensitivity Level (MSL) classification change for the following devices:
★PBA150S
★PBA150STR
■The Moisture Sensitivity Level (MSL) classification of the PBA150S is being temporarily changed from MSL 1 to MSL 3. This change is a containment action implemented to prevent a potential issue with mechanical stress on bond wires, which may be exacerbated by residual moisture in a minor percentage of PBA150S devices. MSL3 rating will be maintained until further notice from Littelfuse. There is no need to pre-process any material received earlier than PCN release.
■This change is effective immediately and is documented in the recent revision of the product's data sheets.
■The PCN number assigned to this action is PCN EIC-1134 and must be referenced in any correspondence related to the change.
