■Initial situation
●The levers of MPS 5 for opening the clamping points are currently made of an orange plastic according to RAL 2000. As an option, this lever can be printed with color fields according to the configuration out of the Weidmüller Configurator(WMC).
■Technical change
●The color of the lever of MPS 5will changed to an orange color according to RAL 2003.Apart from an optical change, there is no other technical impact with the new color.The outer dimensions also remain unchanged.
■Reason for change
●The change is for continuous product improvement and is used for the standardization of plastics.
■Availability
●The change will be started in June2021. There will be no stock clearance, so that products with both color variants are delivered during the transitional period. By separating the color variants as far as possible, we attempt to prevent mixing within a packaging unit.The change has no influence on the handling, function and other technical parameters of the products. The existing article numbers remain the same. Approvals and permits remain valid unchanged.
